quick installation - NOT!

i have been struggling with streamyx settings for almost a week, and i FINALLY are able to use it. thanks to the cd instruction provided, that is not helping at all. in the box, we are provided a quick installation CD..so after waiting for 3 working days for the activation (that is after i sms the activation code), we tried to set it up. somehow it cannot be connected. when we called streamyx, the customer service said " ohh..we are not using that CD anymore. Please use the instruction guide for the modem."

ok..then why the hell you provide us the CD?..-__-"..ok, so we did the manual installation. everything is fine, but when we connect it, it says LIMITED CONNECTION. wth~..i called streamyx again..

me: "hello? i'm connected, but i can't connect to internet"

customer service: "is the username & password correct?"

me: "it's connected, i guess it's correct"

CS: " what username you put?"

me: "its XXX, as stated at the box"

CS: "please use XXX@streamyx"

me: "ok..ok i can access now. thanks"

my point is...at the box, they only provide you

username: XXX

streamyx username: XXX@streamyx.com

HOW THE HELL SHOULD I KNOW THAT I'M SUPPOSE TO USE THE USERNAME WITHOUT .COM? god..easy things should not be made complicated, please~

it's Friday, and kind of lazy to do my work :P. My engagement last week went pretty well and I am proud with the work I've done, that is in deco-ing the hantaran (gifts). I did pretty well for a first timer..haha..

Anyway, with the time I have today (friday usually means less work :-)), I surf on the net to get some ideas for my wedding theme colors. I know it's still early, but I am excited to do all the preparation! (not liking the thought of the duit yang akan keluar though (-__-")). Found some interesting color combination, but finding these colors are hard! Let's see the ones that I like.

Another thing is the flowers. I think flowers in malaysia is kind of limited. Don't even try to ask about fresh flowers. With our hot weather, beli bunga yesterday, today dah nak lunyai dah..hehe..bole la buat fresh flower..bayar wedding planner je la. For me yg kurang budget ni, be creative, find some artificial flowers and buat la earlier, kan? kena la buat pencarian bunga pulak. Nilai 3 kan ade~ :P

 in love with lomo cameras ever since. But for a start, I want this one day use lomo camera. Perhaps the red or yellow ones. :) This will be added to my next month's things-to-have. Maybe I can use it for our trip to the beach..weehoo!

2. MNG Handbag

This bag is so vibrant, but I prefer it in red. Found them at the MNG store in Sunway Pyramid, but the price is not pretty (>_<). It has long chain as well, so it can be a clutch or a sling bag.

3. Very comfy for long walk boots

Where can I find this?? Ugg boots are fine too.. :P

4. Jacket

I want a black jacket..period!

by the way, WE'LL BE GOING TO SHANGHAI!..yup2, my company will be sponsoring a trip to shanghai in November and my chenta-hati will be joining..weehuuu...am sooo looking forward for this trip!

Dubai-KL

Trip to Brazil is over..am currently in Dubai again, waiting for flight back to KL..since I have 4 hours before boarding, I guess I can share with you all some of my experiences in Sao Paulo & Rio de Jenairo.

Here are the weird and interesting things about Brasil.. :D..well, interesting for me la~..

1. Hello/Hi = Oi.. :D so don't think they are rude when they called "Oi!" to you.. :P

2. Most of the people in Sao Paulo don't understand English at all..communication is TOUGH!

3. At exhibition, since most of them don't understand English, once they heard me saying "English??"..they'd run away~ (-__-")

4. In Rio, there are people who suddenly come and talk to you..not sure whether he's high or just friendly..

5. Cheek kissing is kinda common there, I've been receiving 3 cheek kisses while I'm there- 1 from an old guy at the exhibition, 1 from a friend who join the city tour and 1 from a stranger who told me he stays at his Rio apartment and don't have a job (wtf?)..weird~

6. Weather in Sao Paulo and Rio are considered good. Sunny and cool..great combination..me likey!

7. From my observation at the Ibirapuera Park & Copacabana beach, women in Sao Paulo are confident with their body..no matter if you are flabby or you have belly, you can wear 2 pieces and no one care!..

8. Boobs are the most important assets in Brazil..you can see boobs & clivages within 1m around you..perhaps this is why men are attracted to Brazil..:P..

9. Brazilian guys are obsessed with soccer..even taxi drivers have tv showing soccer games in their taxi or radio cast on the live soccer game.

10. Sadly, the nearest samba dance I saw was a silly performance from some city tour friends. They are from Chile. We visited the venue where the Brazil Carnival are usually held, and they wore the carnival costumes and started dancing samba like mad people..their

 music were something like this..tuttururu..tuttururu..interesting & funny!

11. Taxis cost a fortune in Sao Paulo, since most of the places are not within walking distance. In Rio, you can still walk to some places. Example, I'm staying at Copacabana, I can still walk to Ipanema & Leblon beach and a lot of market & shops nearby.

12. You can see many policemen in Rio, since a lot of tourists are there. When you are in Brazil, you are advised to stay low profile..don't even consider to wear your watches.

13. During my stay in Rio, I kinda always get salty food..not sure if it's just me..or the recipe is suppose to be salty.

14. There are A LOT of graffiti in Brazil, some are very nice and colorful..you can even see graffiti at houses..suka hati conteng rumah org~~~

15. Dogs are everywhere!!..from the small chihuahua, long hotdog-dog, to the big K9 and the one that looks like a snowdog..or is it the snowdog?..i even see the scooby dog at the park..hehe..but of course..i would run first if I saw them coming.. :P

i guess that's all for now..will continue the trip details once I've uploaded the pictures..which might take a few more days..hehehe..

Crime At The Red Carpet - GUILTY!

i watched ABP 2008 last Sunday..the event itself is painful to watch, with Adlin being sarcastic all the time and Shira being pregnant and out of breath most of the time..their main conversation is pregnancy and marriage, which don't have anything to do with the theme - Sentuhan Sulaman..i just didn't get it..

Putting that case aside, let's see the red carpet for this so called one of the big event of the year..I would say some of them dressed OK and suitable with the red carpet event..but some just looked like a clown..let's start with the boys

adam is looking good with a suit..not so sure about the jacket+bow+cummerbund guy.. and dafi..shining vest and pants?..really??..euwhh...

now..where should i start on this outfit..(@_@)..BTW..is that a wig?

ahh..the fashion-disaster-couple..it looks like the designer doesn't have enough of the same purple yard and decided to attached another design to it..hopefully nobody notice.. yikes..don't you look at the mirror before you go out???

i really think our artists need stylist..i mean..we have some good designers, no doubt..but you have to know how to style it..we need more of Rachel Zoe!!..agree?

a lady lower down her car window, washes her hands and then throw out the mineral water bottle out to the street..after that, throws out the tissue..HOW IRRESPOSIBLE!..i was so pissed off to see that incident yesterday night..it's not that hard for you to keep your trash a little longer in the car and throw it when you see a bin..i think Malaysian needs to be educated more about littering..perhap to start with a no-street-littering day..

last few days was worse..i saw a man, spit on the floor...it's in the middle of Midvalley Megamall!!..wtf???..that is pure yucky, man!..i think we should stop all these going green campaign and start again with no-littering and no-spitting campaign..it's purely disgusting!..EUWWWW~

it's holiday and i was enjoying my day off with my mom and sis...went to bought a beautiful cloth that is the same as what i had in my mind..nice!..expensive tho..but what the heck..at least i got it..anyhooo...as soon as I arrived at home..shit just happen..

i had a BIG fight with my bro..i have never been so fucking mad at him..to make it short...both of us went amuk..i am so frustrated with him..well..decide not to talk to him now..WHATEVER!!! shit happens even at your home, even when you've had a good day in the morning..

Red & White Affair~

Yay..Annual Dinner!!..I'm so looking forward for this event..this year my company has decided to bring us to Colmar Tropicale, Bukit Tinggi..and I'm incharge of the arrangement of the dinner party..cool!

At first we decided for a black, white & red party theme, but then I decided to exclude the black..so white & red..I think it'll be nice..I'm planning to make a space for a red carpet moment

 with the backdrop and stuff...

and...i was thinking of a cup cakes for everyone..how's that sound?

Rhythm oh Rhythm

I changed my blog background again. Hoping this time I will be posting more rather than changing the background again and again.. :) 

I'm suppose to go for my salsa class tonight. Last week class was a disaster. I danced terribly and my feet hurt badly. I hate the shoe, I hate of not knowing the steps, and I hate making mistakes. I used to love this and waiting for Tuesday to come, but now I don't even bother showing up... =( 

I want to dance, but I just lost my rhythm..oh rhythm..please come soon!
